Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastics Economy initiative launches book about reuse; outlines reuse framework, identifies 6 major benefits of reuse to business and consumers, gives 69 reuse examples

In an article published on June 13, 2019, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastics Economy initiative announced the launch of its new book about reuse. The book offers a “basic description of how different reuse models work as well as typical implementation challenges” and “identifies six major benefits of reuse” that “can bring significant benefits to both users and businesses,” including cutting costs, adapting to individual needs, optimizing operations, building brand loyalty, improving user experience, and gathering intelligence. In addition, the work “maps 69 reuse examples.”
