On October 23, 2018, the non-profit organization International Chemical Secretariat (ChemSec) held a webinar entitled “ChemSec Marketplace and its role in advancing safer alternatives: Focus on phthalates.”
Jonatan Kleimark, senior chemicals advisor at ChemSec, presented the organization’s website Marketplace that provides “a unique marketing opportunity for producers of innovative solutions and . . . [a] global hub for downstream user companies looking to substitute hazardous chemicals” (FPF reported). Kleimark also discussed the HCPP project which ChemSec is part of. Further, Lauren Heine and Amelia Nestler from research center Northwest Green Chemistry (NGC) presented their report on alternatives to phthalates.
The video recording and presentation slides of the webinar are now available online.
