On November 15, 2016 the German environmental and consumer protection organization Deutsche Umwelthilfe is hosting a workshop in Berlin, Germany, addressing reusable alternatives for single-use disposable coffee to go cups. Coffee to go vendors, manufacturers of reusable cups, and representatives of initiatives aiming to reduce the use of single-use cups are invited to join the workshop and to discuss the requirements for reusable cups, hygienic aspects, incentive schemes, and pool systems vs. individual cups. On the same day, Deutsche Umwelthilfe will also host an evening seminar on the topic featuring political representatives, caterers, scientific institutions, and societal groups. Interested parties can register for the events via email as indicated in the program.
