On September 7, 2015 the European Commission (EC) launched a call for membership in the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety and/or the Scientific Committee on Health, Environmental and Emerging risks for the term 2016-2021. The Scientific Committees assist the EC in its policy making by providing risk assessment and scientific advice on topics related to public health, consumer safety and the environment. The call for application will run until November 2, 2015 and is addressed to qualified scientists.
