On September 21, 2017 the European Food Safety Authority’s (EFSA) Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes, Flavourings and Processing Aids (CEF Panel) published the minutes of the eleventh meeting of its Working Group (WG) on BPA assessment protocol. The meeting was held on September 12, 2017 by phone conference. The WG discussed the outcome of the public consultation on the protocol for the safety reevaluation of bisphenol A (BPA, CAS 80-05-7) (FPF reported). Further, the WG discussed the agenda of the stakeholder workshop on the BPA safety reassessment that was held on September 14, 2017 in Brussels, Belgium (FPF reported).
The next meeting of the WG is scheduled to be held on October 5-6, 2017 in Parma, Italy.
