On July 1, 2019, the European Food Safety Authority’s (EFSA) Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes and Processing Aids (CEP Panel) published the minutes of the eleventh meeting of its Working Group (WG) on Phthalates, which was held on June 6-7, 2019, in Parma, Italy. During the meeting, working group members continued discussing the comments received during the public consultation on EFSA’s draft assessment of five phthalates (FPF reported), and “suggestions for addressing the comments in the technical report of the public consultation were further elaborated and agreed.” The date for the next WG meeting has not been defined yet.
