On June 15, 2021, Jane Muncke from the Food Packaging Forum participated in a stakeholder discussion during The European Consumer Organisation’s (BEUC) webinar titled “Towards Toxic-Free Food Packaging.” The event focused on how decision-makers can make the most of the EU’s pending revision of food contact material regulations to ensure that the materials and products in contact with food are safe and sustainable. In total, eight invited stakeholders shared ideas and perspectives, including from DG SANTE, The Danish Consumer Council, Coop Denmark, and a Member of the European Parliament.
