Zero Waste Cities webinar series

Monthly webinars to feature expert presentations and discussion panels between October and June 2020; address topics such as COVID-19 pandemic impacts on zero waste, packaging-free stores, and effective systems for reuse; registration free

The non-governmental organization Zero Waste Europe (ZWE) has announced a series of webinars within its Zero Waste Cities platform featuring expert presentations and discussion panels to “provide local authorities, waste professionals and community leaders with first hand experiences about the best practices of zero waste at the local level, helping to kick-start or further develop zero waste and circular economy strategies.”

Topics to be covered in the monthly webinars include how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected zero waste movements, the development of packaging-free stores, investigating whether or not recycling is bold enough, and creating effective systems for reuse. Registration for all of the webinars is free and space is limited.
