On November 4, 2024, the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) approved two new standards addressing plastic bags for food-related applications. Both will take effect on March 4, 2025.
The first standard, TIS 1027-2567, applies to plastic bags made from either virgin resin or recycled resin intended for food packaging purposes.
The second standard, TIS 3022-2567, focuses on plastic bags used for reheating food in microwaves. Bo
