On October 3, 2019, the first ever Plastic Health Summit took place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (FPF reported). Jane Muncke from the Food Packaging Forum presented at the event on the development of research into the chemicals that can be present in plastic food packaging, and she highlights the unknowns related to non-intentionally added substances (NIAS).
