Denmark to launch substitution program

Danish Environmental Protection Agency announces program to collaborate with interested parties on innovation and substitution of harmful chemicals

In an article published on August 22, 2018, regulatory news provider Chemical Watch reported that the Danish Environmental Protection Agency will launch a new substitution program as part of its initiative to reduce harmful chemicals in consumer products and food (FPF reported). The agency will thus call for project offers from institutions, companies, and other organizations who are interested in collaborating on innovation and substitution of hazardous substances. The call for projects will be published on the procurement portal TenderKonnect in September 2018, Chemical Watch informed.
