On July 18, 2016 regulatory news provider Chemical Watch published a report on the 2016 Helsinki Chemicals Forum (HCF), which is “an independent forum aimed at promoting chemicals safety and chemicals management globally.” HCF took place on May 26-27, 2016 in Helsinki, Finland. Focus of the 2016 HCF was on five key themes discussed in different panels: 1) Circular economy, 2) perfluorinated chemicals, 3) global data sharing, 4) plant safety, and 5) how to tackle chemicals of high concern in products.
