ECHA improves data access

ECHA structures publicly accessible data on chemicals according to lifecycle phases and availability of nanoform

In an article published on May 12, 2017 the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced that it has updated its Information on Chemicals portal. In the advanced search, for example, information on substances can now be searched by different lifecycle stages (e.g. consumer uses, professional uses, manufacture). Also, substances can be searched by nanoform to find “those substances where registrants have indicated a nanoform in their dossier,” ECHA informed.

In March 2017, ECHA published information on about 15’000 chemicals registered under REACH, downloadable as a single database (FPF reported).
