In an article published on September 12, 2018, the magazine EUWID Verpackung reported that the German packaging register “LUCID” is now online. According to the new German packaging law that will enter into force on January 1, 2019, manufacturers, importers, distributors, and online retailers placing packaged goods on the German market must register their products with the central packaging register (FPF reported). Registration is now possible and non-registered producers are not allowed to sell their goods after 2018, EUWID Verpackung informed.
