The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) is calling for scientific contributions on the safety of food packaging for its upcoming annual meeting. “Safety of packaging materials (e.g., alternative components, unintended consequences of banning certain components such as BPA)” is a topical priority for which session proposals may be submitted before November 8, 2012. The IFT meeting will take place from July 13 -16, 2013 in Chicago, USA.
