On September 29-30, 2016 the European Commission (EC) and the International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA) are hosting a two-day conference entitled “Science and policy making: Towards a new dialogue” in Brussels, Belgium. Policy-makers, leading practitioners, and scholars in the field of science advice to governments, as well as other stakeholders, will gather and explore principles and practices in a variety of current and challenging policy contexts. The conference will also present the EC’s new Scientific Advice Mechanism to the international community. The conference program and registration are available on the event website.
